The relaxed way of perceiving time
Like the very first mechanical clocks, MeisterSinger watches display the time with just one single hand, literally summing up the entire experience by pointing to that one precious moment and thus conveying a reassuring sense of time. Superb design and outstanding Swiss watchmaking precision are combined to create watches that won’t go out of style and may well be an inspiration for generations to come.
Meistersinger is a German company located in Münster in Westphalia. In the creation of his watches, it’s inspired by the tradition of sundials and tower clocks , as well as the configuration of the old measurement tools.
The highly stylized line of its watches unites the ancient principles of chronometry to modern decoration. In the ancient sundials, as well as several centuries later in the first mechanical clocks, there was just one hand to indicate the hours.
The dial with the typical 144 lines in five-minute intervals and the zero preceding numbers makes these watches a timeless classics.
Soprana chose MeisterSinger for the simplicity and purity of its timepiece, which have a primary, logical indication of the time as well as the sun rises and sets.
